Women's Soccer Plays at Portland at 1 p.m. Sunday on ESPNU

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Returning to conference action, No. 19 Santa Clara women's soccer travels to West Coast Conference rival Portland on Sunday. The Broncos and Pilots will play at 1 p.m. on ESPNU and WatchESPN.com. On Thursday Santa Clara fell at No. 23 Cal 1-0.

Grace Cutler leads Santa Clara (9-5-0, 2-1-0 WCC) with four goals and is tied for the team lead with eight points. Dani Weatherholt has scored three goals and added two assists to tie Cutler with eight points. Julie Vass has found the back of the net three times and has one assist. Mariana Galvan has scored three goals, all game-winners in double overtime. Megan Crosson leads the Broncos with five assists. Eight different Broncos have scored at least one goal and eight have at least one assist.

Andi Tostanoski has allowed eight goals for a 0.58 GAA. She has made 63 saves and has a .887save percentage to go with six shutouts.

Portland (6-8-0, 2-2-0 WCC) is 2-4 at home this year and has won its last two games. Last week the Pilots went on the road and picked up a 1-0 win and Saint Mary's and a 4-0 win at Pacific.

"Our games with Portland are always great matchups," said Smith. "We've enjoyed a long, great rivalry with them and they have a great soccer environment up there. How the Portland and Santa Clara seasons are going has never impacted the quality of our games. There are so many great games in our history that it really energizes both teams to play each other, regardless of how the rest of the season has gone for the two teams."

Cecilia Pedersen leads Portland with four goals and 10 points. Noelle La Prevotte has scored three times and has three assists. Allison Weatherinton leads the team with five assists and has scored twice. Nine Portland players have scored at least one goal and eight have at least one assist.

The Pilots have split time between Hanna De Haan and Rachel Lusby in net. De Haan has allowed nine goals got a 1.25 GAA and has made 17 saves for a .654 save percentage with two shutouts. Lusby has allowed 12 goals for a 1.69 GAA and has made 26 saves for a .684 save percentage with one shutout.
