Women's Soccer Headed to Pacific for Conference Matchup

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - With time winding down in the regular season, No. 15 Santa Clara women's soccer travels to Stockton to take on Pacific Sunday at 2:30 p.m. On Friday afternoon the Broncos fought to a scoreless tie at Saint Mary'sSanta Clara currently sits in fourth place in the WCC standings but is just two points behind second place and four behind first place.

Grace Cutler
 leads Santa Clara (11-5-2, 4-1-2 WCC) with five goals and 10 points. Julie Vass has found the back of the net four times and added an assist. Dani Weatherholt has scored three times and added two assists while Mariana Galvan has scored three goals. Four other Broncos have scored at least once. Megan Crosson is second in the WCC with six assists and eight other Santa Clara players have at least one assist.

Andi Tostanoski has allowed nine goals and is second in the conference with a 0.49 GAA. She has made 80 saves and is also second in the WCC with a .899 save percentage. She has collected nine shutouts.

Santa Clara is 9-0-0 all-time vs. Pacific with the first meeting coming in 1981. Last year the Broncos won 2-0 at home.

Pacific (3-11-1, 2-5-0 WCC) is 2-4-1 at home this year. Last week they lost at No. 5 BYU 2-0 before coming back with a 2-1 double-overtime win at Saint Mary's.

Alex Hussar leads Pacific with four goals and eight points. Four other Tigers have scored one goal each. The team has three players with one assist apiece.

Lena Perry has played the majority of the season in goal and has allowed 15 goals for a 1.37 GAA. She has made 72 saves for a .828 save percentage.
