No.13 Women's Soccer Heads to No. 25 Pepperdine for Important WCC Showdown

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer faces another tough road test in another critical West Coast Conference match at Pepperdine Tuesday at 3 p.m.

The Broncos won a thriller in a critical West Coast Conference match at BYU on March 11 to give head coach Jerry Smith his 500th career win. They also picked up a forfeit win over LMU.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 15-11 all-time against Pepperdine with the first meeting coming in 1994. Last season the Broncos erased a 3-0 deficit to beat the Waves 4-3.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (3-0, 4-0 WCC) has outscored its opponents 6-1 and has yet to allow a goal during the run of play, surrendering just a penalty kick. The Broncos have outshot teams 43-19 and have a 26-8 edge in shots on goal.

Trinity Watson and Tori Waldeck are tied for the team lead with three goals each and seven other Waves have scored once. Watson has added an assist for a team-leading seven points and Madi Cook's two assists are the most on the roster.

Zoe Clevely and Kinsey Ehmann have split time in net. Ehmann has allowed seven goals for a 2.47 GAA and made three saves with a .300 save percentage. Clevely hasn't allowed a goal and made 11 saves.
