SAN MATEO, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer senior Julie Doyle was named the West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Doyle scored the game-winner, in the 88th minute, as the No. 23 Broncos went to Provo and beat No. 13 BYU 2-1 on Saturday in a matchup of the top-two teams in the WCC in the preseason coaches' poll.

After she controlled a through ball sent by Skylar Smith, Doyle took a few dribbles before knocking one over the goalkeeper's head and into the back of the net.

The win also gave head coach Jerry Smith 500 in his career.
