Sharma finishes top-10; Broncos 3rd at WCC Championship

HENDERSON, Nev. - Sophomore golfer Inara Sharma secured a spot in the top 10 of the West Coast Conference Championship after carding a 3-over 75 on Friday's final round to finish at 11-over 78-74-75--227 and finish in eighth. 

Santa Clara had their best round of the week at 9-over 297 to finish in third at 56-over 309-314-297--920. 

Claire Choi and Borina Sutikto tied for 13th at 17-over 233 while Skyler May tied for 16th at 80-80-74--234 and Lauren Shew was 19th at 76-82-77--235. 

Pepperdine won the championship title at 21-over 885. The Waves' Lauren Gomez won medalist honors at 3-under 70-72-71--213.
