CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Santa Clara women's golf sophomores Lauren Shew and Inara Sharma, as well as freshman Borina Sutikto, have been honored as 2021-22 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-America Scholars. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
Shew was honored for the second-straight season while Sharma and Sutikto each made their first appearance on the team.
Shew appeared in six events this season with a pair of top 10 finishes. Sharma was one of three Bronco golfers to play in all 10 events and led the squad at the WCC Championship with an eighth-place finish. Sutikto had a freshman campaign to remember as she posted a team-best eight top-20 finishes en route to tallying the fourth-lowest stroke average in program history (74.07) and garnering All-WCC honors.
