SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis announced its 2022-23 schedule that includes five fall tournaments and 18 spring dual matches.
The Broncos kick off the fall campaign at the Cal Fall Invitational (Sept. 30 – Oct. 2) in Berkeley, California in one of five fall tournaments on the schedule. One of those include the first annual Taube Champions Cup that features a World Team Tennis style match between crosstown rival San Francisco on Oct. 16 in Alpine Hills, California.
The San José State Hidden Dual (Nov. 4-6) closes out the fall season.
Santa Clara opens the spring season with eight-straight home matches, starting on Jan. 27 against Nevada. Among the eight schools that visit the Degheri Tennis Center is 2021 NCAA Tournament qualifier, Grand Canyon, on Feb. 18.
The West Coast Conference opener is against BYU on March 4 in the seventh match of the eight-match homestand.
In conference action, SCU plays Saint Mary's (March 24) and Pacific (March 25) at home and travel to Portland (March 31), Gonzaga (April 1), San Francisco (April 15) and LMU (April 21).
The March 25th match against Pacific is the final home match of the season and the Broncos close out the regular season at LMU on April 21.
