Men's Soccer Tops UC Davis 3-1

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – In the second to last spring game of the season, Santa Clara men's soccer beat UC Davis 3-1 on May 9. The Broncos got two goals from Steve Eneme and one from Carlos Delgadillo.

"We scored three goals in our first spring game and that was a good sign of what we wanted to accomplish in our spring," said Santa Clara head coach Cameron Rast. "We wanted to be very offensive-minded, play the ball forward, and create good chances. We've played a couple of other good teams and had some chances but it wasn't until this weekend that we were able to break through again. There could have been more goals but to score three against a team a like Davis was a good way to start to wind up our spring."

Santa Clara finishes its spring season tomorrow, Wed., May 13 at 8 p.m. vs. Burlingame on Stanton Field.
