SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Loyola Marymount came through in the clutch in both doubles and singles play to defeat Santa Clara men's tennis 4-3 on Saturday in a West Coast Conference battle.

With the team score all knotted at 3-all, Daniel Moreno recorded the match clincher over Mann Shah, 7-6 (8-6), 1-6, 6-2 on court one.

Moreno's clincher came shortly after Diego Nava's win over Guillaume Dalmasso in another three-set match, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 on court two.

All other singles matches were decided in straight sets.

Dominic Barretto, Santiago Hinojosa and Vasileios Iliopoulos each collected singles wins for the Broncos (3-6, 0-3).

Two of the three doubles matches went to a tiebreaker with John Bryan Otico and Austin Di Giulio squeaking past Shah and Hinojosa 7-6 (7-4) to give the Lions (5-5, 2-0) the doubles point.
