Men's Tennis Sweeps Gonzaga

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis swept Gonzaga Sunday afternoon at home for the team's third win in a row.

The Broncos (6-6, 3-3 WCC) opened things up with three wins to take the doubles point and didn't lose a match to the Bulldogs (11-9, 0-5 WCC) the rest of the way in winning the West Coast Conference meeting 7-0.

Dominic Barretto topped Sasha Trkulja 6-2, 7-6(6) and Santiago Hinojosa beat Pablo Gomez Glavan to give Santa Clara the 3-0 lead before Arthur Neuhaus posted a comeback 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over Oliver Andersson to seal the match.

Mann Shah also won in comeback fashion over Matthew Hollingworth 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 on court one. Guillaume Dalmasso went on to beat Leon Roider 7-5, 4-6, 6-1 and Vasileios Illiopoulous topped Matthew Perkins 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

Dominic Barretto and Guillaume Dalmasso teamed up to clinch the doubles point. They defeated Sasha Trkulja and Leon Roider by a score of 6-2
