SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara's Matt McCarty was one of 12 student-athletes named to the 2019-20 WCC Men's Golf All-Academic team.

Jack Avrit and Will Del Biaggio earned honorable mention distinction.

McCarty, a member of the team for the second-straight year, is a finance major who carries a 3.35 GPA. This past season, he had top 10 showings in three of the seven events and posted a 71.19 scoring average, first on the team.

To be considered for the team, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.
