Men's Soccer Receives United Soccer Coaches 2018-19 College Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, MO. – For the second consecutive year, the Santa Clara men's soccer was named one of United Soccer Coaches 2018-19 College Team Academic Award winners for posting a GPA of over 3.0.  The Broncos posted a 3.10 GPA  during the last academic year.

Last season, six players received West Coast Conference All-Academic recognitions as Sam Agosti was named to the All-Academic team for the second consecutive year with Alex Achramowicz, Brandon Gillingham, Dakota Havlick, Javier Ruiz Duran and Terrell Smith named honorable mentions.

This past July, twelve players also were also honored on the West Coast Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for balancing academic success with athletic success - Sakari Carter, Agosti, Henning Jolivet, Alan Camacho Soto, Emil Christensen, Alejandro Perez, Matt Golbranson, Ruiz Duran, Achramowicz, Martin Aasen, Smith, Dylan Carrubba

Santa Clara was one of 255 schools who had both their men's and women's programs among the recipients of the Coaches Academic Award.
