• Lindsey VanAllen scored her 1,000th career point on January 20 against LMU, becoming the 27th Bronco to accomplish the feat. She is currently 11th all-time at Santa Clara with 1,185 points. Next is Lana Gipson (2008-11) with 1,224.
• Santa Clara has won 10 home games this season.
• The first four games of the WCC schedule were postponed due to Covid-19.
• Santa Clara won its first two games by 10-plus points for the first time since 1999-2000 when they beat Oakland 84-66 and Drexel 71-49. The Broncos finished that season 21-9 and went to the WNIT.
• The team's 39 attempted 3-pointers at Kansas tied a program record. They also attempted 39 January 8, 2006 at Portland.
• The 58-point win over Holy Names on December 20 was tied for the sixth largest margin of victory in program history and was the third largest in Leavey Center.
• Merle Wiehl was named Preseason All-WCC. She was Second Team All-WCC last season and was named to the WCC All-Tournament team.
• Bill Carr enters his sixth season at the helm of the Broncos.
• The Broncos fell to Gonzaga Thursday.
