SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball student-athlete Rafailia Stergaki will represent her home country of Greece on its U20 team at the U20 FIBA Women's European Championship.

The Greek team begins play Sunday against Turkey. They play again Monday against Switzerland. For a full list of games and times, click here.

Stergaki has experience with the Greek national teams, finishing fourth with the U16's and third with the U18's. During her time with the U18 team, Stergaki led her team in in scoring in the semifinals. She has also played for Greece's junior national team.

During her freshman campaign with the Broncos, Stergaki appeared in six games off the bench. She made her collegiate debut against CSU Bakersfield and scored a career-high eight against Holy Names. In that game she also had four steals, three assists, and two rebounds.

A native of Thessaloniki, Stergaki attended Aristotelio College.
