SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara track & field hosts the West Coast Invitational Saturday morning to begin its 2020 outdoor slate. The Broncos begin the meet with and women's 100m at 8:55 a.m. and the final race, the men's 1,600-meter relay, gets started at 10:15 a.m. from Bellarmine College Prep in San José, California.
SCU takes to the track against Loyola Marymount, Pacific and Saint Mary's.

Associate head coach Pete Cushman: "We enjoy the opportunity to host a few conference schools to kick off the start of the outdoor season. We're obviously very familiar with these programs, so it's a good gauge to where we are at right now. With our team we want to continue to find our racing legs, focus on competing, execute race plans and not get too caught up in the watch or splits."
