Track & Field Wins Six Events as Host of West Coast Invitational Saturday

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Santa Clara track & field scored six event wins in its first outdoor meet of the season on Saturday as host of the West Coast Invitational. Janie Nabholz, Titilola Bolarinwa, Alex Scales, Emma McCurry, Xander Olivero and the men's 4x400-meter relay team all captured first-place finishes in their respective collegiate fields at Terry Ward Track.

RASLOWSKY TAKES SECOND IN PORTLAND HALFTIME MILE

Christian Raslowsky competed in the halftime mile Saturday at Portland's Chiles Center, taking second place in the field of 14 with a 4:13.31 (first among attached collegiate athletes). The halftime mile is a Portland tradition at a men's basketball game dating to the early 1990s.
