FROM THE COACHES
Head coach Felipe Montoro: "I am really looking forward to watching the team compete on Saturday. We have a lot of work to do in the coming weeks and months to figure out who will represent the team in the postseason, and this first meet is part of that process. It is a great course and the first competition of the year is always fun."
Associate head coach Pete Cushman: "The summer training can feel long and tedious so it's just nice to have an opportunity to put the uniform on again and a chance to race some people. The season is a process of building toward the October and November races, and this meet is the perfect opportunity to see where our fitness is at, get acquainted with competing again, and learn some racing lessons to build on through the season."
