KAUAI, Hawaii - Santa Clara men's golf carded their lowest score of the weekend with a 3-over 291 on Saturday to wrap up play at the John Burns Intercolleagiate. The Broncos finished 15th overall at 22-over 886.
Zack Kaneshiro had a big final round to jump 40 spots on the day for a season-best t-36th. Kaneshiro tallied five birdies on the day to card a 3-under 69 to finish with a three day total of 3-over 74-76-69--219.
Berk Harvey eagled the par-5 second hole in Saturday's round and finished t-52nd at 6-over 71-76-75--222 while Konrad Brauckmeyer saved his best round for last, climbing 18 spots to tie for 58th at 7-over 76-74-73--223. Brauckmeyer also carded an eagle, his coming on the par-5 No. 6.
Oscar Zimmerman (75-78-74--227) tied for 80th while Jack Avrit (82-73-83--238) finished 100th.
New Mexico won the team title at 25-under 281-274-284--839 while Cal's Aaron Du took home medalist honors at 13-under 66-67-70--203.
The Broncos have a quick turnaround as they are set to play at The Prestige Monday through Wednesday in La Quinta, Calif.

- Zack Kaneshiro's final round 69 is his 21st career sub-par round, second most on the team to Avrit (28).
