ITA Northwest Super Regional Championships Full Draw and Results
STANFORD, Calif. - Santa Clara men's tennis players Arthur Neuhaus and Guillaume Dalmasso opened play at the ITA Northwest Super Regional Championships on Friday on the campus of Stanford University competing among 30 other qualifiers in the singles draw.
Neuhaus faced Jesper Klov-Nilsson in the opening found and needed three sets, 4-6, 6-0, 6-4, to defeat the Oregon player to advance to the round of 16. He then faced Pacific's Terence Das but lost 6-3, 6-1.
Dalmasso fell in his opening round match against Neel Rajesh of Stanford, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3). In the consolation bracket, Dalmasso lost to Gonzaga's Matthew Hollingworth, 6-3, 6-3.
Neuhaus and Dalmasso will play their opening round doubles match on Saturday at 10 a.m. against Stanford's Anders Matta and Isaac Gorelik.
