ITA Northwest Regional Championships Full Draw and Results

BERKELEY, Calif. - Santa Clara men's tennis opened play at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships on Thursday with two singles and a pair of doubles teams advancing to the round of 16 in the main draw.  

Jack Pulliam won both his singles matches while Mann Shah, who had an opening round bye, won one match to advance to the round of 16.  Nick Cmager moved to the round of 32 after his opening round opponent withdrew due to an injury but fell to Cal's Alex Chang in the next round.  

In doubles action, two of the three doubles teams moved on to the round of 16. 

Santiago Hinojosa and Nick Cmager paired up to defeat Pacific's Manroop Saini and Pter Alam, 8-5 while  Jack Pulliam and Mann Shah had an opening round bye. 

In total, the Broncos had six singles and one doubles win on Thursday.    

Day two of the championships continues on Friday starting at 9 a.m.
