EUGENE, Ore. - Santa Clara men's tennis lost 6-1 to Oregon in a nonconference match on Friday at the Student Tennis Center.
Christian Lerby won the lone point for the Broncos (2-2) when he beat Ivailo Keremedchiev 6-1, 6-2 on court three to level the team score at 1-all. However, the Ducks (4-1) won the remaining five singles matches including the match clincher by Joshua Charlton over Arthur Neuhaus 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 on court one.
The singles matches for Guillaume Dalmasso and Mann Shah went to three sets but neither Bronco were able to pull out a win.
Oregon took all three doubles matches to claim the doubles point. Jesper Klov-Nilsson and Luke Vandecasteele defeated Jack Pulliam and Santiago Hinojosa 6-3 on court three to secure the doubles point for the Ducks.

The Broncos remain in Eugene and face Seattle University on Saturday in a neutral site match at 10 a.m.
