Men's Tennis With Five Wins on Friday at Pacific Hidden Dual

STOCKTON, Calif. - Santiago Hinojosa led the way for Santa Clara men's tennis on the opening day of the Pacific Hidden Dual with a victory in both doubles and singles action on Friday.  

In total, the Broncos picked up five victories - one doubles and four singles - in eight matches on the day.  

Hinojosa paired up with Jack Pulliam to defeat Sacramento State's Ori Maior and Jan Silva, 6-2, for the lone Bronco win in doubles.  

In the afternoon singles session, SCU won four of the five singles matches playing primarily against players from Pacific.  

Hinojosa handled Pacific's Peter Alam, 6-3, 6-4, for his second win of the day.  Mann Shah, Nick Cmager and Matthew Rodriguez also won their singles matches.  

The second day of the Pacific Hidden Dual will continue on Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
