Women's Soccer Welcomes 11 New Players for 2016

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer announced 11 players that signed National Letters of Intent for the 2016-17 season on Wednesday. The Broncos will welcome Machaela George, Madison Gonzalez, Natalie Kennedy, Kate Kircher, Courtney Ogren, Katie Pengel, DB Pridha, Lillie French, Sophie French, Audrey Hegardt, and Kaitlyn Parcell next season.

"This is going to be a great recruiting class for Santa Clara," said Santa Clara head coach Jerry Smith. "We have 11 players new players for next fall. It's a deep and talented class. It has key players in various positions and has several players who will not only compete for playing time, but compete for starting positions. That's saying quite a bit considering our team had such an amazing year last season and is returning so many people. We're all very excited."
