SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Santa Clara women's water polo team had a tough one as they began day two of the Triton Tournament against Cal State Northridge. In what was a very low-scoring game for both teams, Northridge came out on top by a score of 5-3.
The Broncos received goals from Meg Zimmerman, Katie Radvanyi and Brianna Anderson, while Radvanyi added two kickouts drawn. Amy Lamb also had a kickout drawn and added three steals. In the cage, Randahl Capurro had a season-high 15 blocks for the Broncos, and also had one steal.
With the loss, the Broncos fall to 5-3 with one game remaining in the 2007 Triton Tournament.
