NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - The Santa Clara women's water polo team (8-6) took their second match in a row to overtime and came away with their second win of the day against No. 15 Long Beach State to conclude the UC Irvine Invitational. Katie Radvanyi, Andrea Evans and Amy Lamb each scored two goals.

After trailing 6-5 at halftime, Santa Clara got two goals in the third quarter to take a 7-6 lead. But in the fourth Long Beach battled back and tied the game 9-9 to send the match to overtime.

Unlike the earlier match against UC San Diego, the Broncos fell behind in the first overtime period, but in the second OT, Santa Clara buried two goals to seal the victory.

Amy Lamb capped her two goal performance with four assists, while Radvanyi had four kickouts drawn. The Broncos also received goals from Jenny Knutson, Liz Perry, Claire Linney, Christie Miller and Brianna Anderson.

Randahl Capurro had a phenomenal performance in the cage for the Broncos, posting 17 blocks, topping Barnes' 16-block effort from Saturday against San Diego State.

Next weekend, the Broncos will take their winning ways to the Slugfest in Santa Cruz, Calif. on Saturday, March 3 and 4
