Women's Water Polo Falls At San Diego State

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Santa Clara women's water was unable to keep up with San Diego State on Saturday, falling to the Aztecs, 14-5, to drop to 2-2 in Golden Coast Conference play and 7-13 overall.

Kelly Frumkin scored two of the Broncos' five goals. Lauren Baglietto, Elle Fredrickson and Chloe Morrison tallied the others. Anuhea Ledesma led the team with a pair of steals. 

Liyara Sendaheera and Grace Kavanagh both saw time in the goal with Sendaheera tallying seven saves in 28 minutes of work. 

San Diego State (9-12, 2-1) was led by a trio of players that scored three goals in the victory. Karli Canale finished with a game-high six points with three goals and three assists.
