Women's Water Polo Falls To LMU

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara women's water polo was unable to keep up with LMU, falling to the Lions in a 14-5 final on Saturday afternoon at the Sullivan Aquatics Center. The Broncos drop to 7-15 overall and are 2-4 in GCC play. 

Kate Rodman and Lauren Voss led the Broncos with two goals apiece. LMU led 10-0 after the first two periods of action before the Broncos began to chip away over the final two. 

LMU (12-9, 3-1) was led by Mollie Williams' game-high four goals on five attempts.

The Broncos head to Stanford in a midweek game that will be carried live on the Pac-12 Network. The game is set for 5:00 p.m. PT.
