SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara softball head coach Lisa Mize has signed three NLI's for the 2015 season. Kelsie Barnard, a catcher and middle infielder from San Mateo, Calif. attended Saint Ignatius College Prep.

Also, having attended a Jesuit high school, Santa Clara provides me the opportunity to continue my education in the Jesuit tradition."

"Kelsie is softball savvy and impressive behind the plate in the catcher position," said Mize. "She is a natural leader on the field and a gap to gap hitter offensively. We can't wait for Kelsie to put on a Santa Clara uniform!"
