Raslowsky Named 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District® for Men's Track & Field/Cross Country

GREENWOOD, Ind. — Santa Clara cross country/track & field's Christian Raslowsky has been named to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field/Cross Country First Team, announced on Thursday.

Raslowsky is one of 12 student-athletes selected to the District 8 First Team, which includes Division I programs from Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawai'i, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Canada.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-August.

The Weehawken, New Jersey native is the only men's student-athlete from the West Coast Conference to earn the honor.

Raslowsky, a four-time WCC Cross Country All-Academic selection, earned a master's degree in civil engineering in June. His undergraduate degree was also in civil engineering.

On the track, Raslowsky was one of a program record five Broncos to qualify for the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship West Preliminary competition. He took 27th place at the regional meet after entering as the 43rd seed in his postseason debut.

During his Bronco track & field career, Raslowsky totaled 22 top-10 finishes, 11 top-three finishes and two event wins.

The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the competition realm and in the classroom.
