NOTES
- The Broncos opened the season with wins in all four games in the Bruno Classic at Brown. They defeated the host Bears and Wagner on Saturday and closed out the event by knocking off Fordham and Gannon on Sunday.
- Santa Clara is off to its best start in 12 seasons. The team opened 2009 with a 5-0 mark, winning all five games at the Princeton Invitational.
- As they did the previous two seasons, Sean Tehaney and Chase Zamborelli have split time in net. Tehaney went the distance against Brown and Gannon, and Zamborelli played all 32 minutes vs. Wagner and Fordham. Matt Peterson, Jake Taylor, Blake D'Souza, Chase Raisin, Dominick Kirk and Cody Ferguson have started in all four games.
- Zach Fales leads the team in goals (nine) and is tied for second in assists with six. He had a career-high four goals against Wagner. Ford Eldredge is second with eight goals. Ferguson has seven and Raisin has recorded six.
- Taylor has a team-best nine assists in the four contests. D'Souza and Kirk are tied for second with Fales in that category.
- Ferguson has eight earned ejections so far this season to lead the squad. Mason Jaeger has five and Billy Barry four.
