SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Bodhi Bowden had five goals, including three during a key third-quarter flurry, to lead Fresno Pacific to a 10-7 victory over Santa Clara men's water polo on Wednesday afternoon.

Bowden score three times in the final 4 minutes of the period with his strike with 54 seconds left pushing the lead to 9-5.
Goalie Clay Maroney was the backbone of the Fresno Pacific defense, posting 17 blocks, many from point blank range.
Kirk's final goal cut the deficit to 10-7 with 4:32 left in the game, but Maroney followed with four of his stops.

- Fresno Pacific scored on all three of its 5-meter penalty shots and Santa Clara connected on both of its attempts. The Broncos were 0-for-6 on the power play and the Sunbirds 1 of 4.
- The game was originally scheduled to be played in Fresno, but smoke from wildfires in the area made the air quality unplayable.
