SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara women's golf received some outstanding news on Wednesday with the official addition of one of the top overall golfers in the state of California, Kelsey Kim, who signed her National Letter of Intent to attend Santa Clara University and play for the program beginning with the 2023-24 season.
"I'm excited to have Kelsey join our team," head coach Krystal Kelly said. "She is a very accomplished junior player, and I know that she will come in and made an immediate impact on our program."

A product of Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, Kim is rated the No. 12 player in California and 109th nationally. She has a career scoring average of 73.83 with a differential of -3.38 against a 49.08 strenghth of schedule.
Kim has posted some outstanding finishes on the links with victories at the 2021 CIF Northern Regional Girls Golf, 2022 Toyota Tour Cup, 2022 Lady Mustang Invitational and the CIF Southern Section Championship Northern Regional. She posted nine rounds under par while on the AJGA/Toyota Tour Cup in 2022, and also had a runner-up finish a the Toyota Tour Cup Redhawk and took fourth at the 2021 AJGA Se Ri Pak Desert Junior.
