SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara women's golf is ready to officially hit the links for the spring portion of their 2022-23 campaign and will do so beginning Monday with a two-day stay at the Valley Invitational hosted by Cal State Bakersfield.

NOTES
- The Broncos played in four tournaments during the fall with a best finish of sixth at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational.
- Tomorrow's tournament is the first of five that SCU will partake in prior to heading to the WCC Championship
- The 14-team field at the Valley Invitational features a heavy California influence with 12 different California schools competing for the title. In addition to the Broncos and host-CSUB, the field features USC, Fresno State, CSUN, Cal State Fullerton, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, San Francisco, Cal State San Marcos, UC Davis, Sacramento State, Grand Canyon and Utah Tech.
- Santa Clara's lineup will be Claire Choi, Inara Sharma, Borina Sutikto, Audrey Brust, Valentina Gilly and Maddie Woo playing as an individual.
- Sophomore Borina Sutikto, a All-WCC performer as a true freshman, led the Broncos in scoring average at 73.92 with a pair of top 20 finishes in the fall.
- Freshman Audrey Brust had the top invididual performance of the fall with a fifth-place finish at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational. She carded an even-par 216 that included a second round 67 - the lowest round from any Bronco in the fall.
