Women's Soccer Topped at Pacific in Nonconference Finale

STOCKTON, Calif. – Nonconference play came to an end for Santa Clara women's soccer with a 2-0 defeat at Pacific.

The Tigers (5-0-6) got the scoring going in the 28th minute off the foot of Haleigh Wynne on an assist from Jenae Packard. They would add some insurance early in the first half when Jade Enalen slipped a pass to Anaya Shelton who finished low and inside the near post.

The Broncos (3-6-1) had their chances, including a shot off the cross bar in the first half that would have opened the scoring and a ball cleared off the line by the defense late, but were unable to get on the scoreboard.
