Isabel Dehakiz Called to Colombian National Team for Training Camp

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Isabel Dehakiz became the latest Santa Clara women's soccer player called up to a National Team roster when she joined Colombia for training camp in December. She is the 23rd Bronco to represent her country on a full National Team.

The camp ran from December 12 though 20 in Bogota, Colombia. The team faced local club teams Futuro Soccer, Bacata, and Verona.

Dehakiz had previous experience with the country's Youth National Teams but this was her first time with the full team.

Dehakiz played just one year with Santa Clara after transferring from Arizona State. She started eight of the 18 matches she played in while scoring one goal and adding two assists. Her lone goal was huge, tying the game against Saint Mary's as the Broncos came from behind to win 3-1 and win their third-straight West Coast Conference title. She followed it up with an assist at San Diego and one vs. Portland in the team's next two matches.

In three years with the Sun Devils, Dehakiz played in 42 games and started 16 while scoring once with one assist.
