SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis and Fresno State will serve it up at 1 p.m. this Saturday on the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center courts in Fresno, California.
Due to current state guidelines, fans are not permitted in the facility.
Santa Clara (2-3) is coming off a 6-1 triumph over Sacramento State last week where Katherine Petty, Finley Kalinic and Giulia Hayer each picked up wins in doubles and singles.
Saturday's contest is just the second road match for the Broncos this year, losing the first one to Stanford.
Jamie Schroer and Kalinic have a team-best 4-1 singles record while Kalinic, Petty and Hayer boast the same record in doubles play to top the team. Kalinic and Petty have teamed up to play atop the doubles lineup all season.
Fresno State (5-3) played their first four matches of the season at home going 3-1 and have played the last four on the road. Sacramento State is the lone common opponent that both SCU and Fresno State has played. Fresno State beat Sac State 5-2 back on Feb. 6.
