SANTA CLARA, Calif. – San Diego remained undefeated in West Coast Conference play with a 7-0 blanking of Santa Clara women's tennis on Saturday.

Jordyn McBride clinched the match for the Toreros (12-3, 6-0) with a straight set win over Jamie Schroer 6-0, 6-3 on court three.

Santa Clara (2-13, 0-7) nearly picked up the doubles point splitting the first two matches.  Schroer and Varya Zlotnik defeated Kati Kukaras and Elisabeth Andryukhov 6-3 at No. 3 but McBride and Abigail Desiatnikov secured the doubles point with their 7-5 triumph over JennaMarie Gordon and Giulia Hayer at No. 2.

San Diego dropped just one set in singles action when Solymar Colling needed three sets to defeat Gordon, 6-0, 5-7, 1-0 (13-11) atop the lineup.

Broncos lone senior, Nadine Del Carmen got the nod at No. 6 and pushed Andryukhov before losing 6-3, 7-6 (9-7).

Prior to the match, Del Carmen was recognized in a Senior Day ceremony.
