NOTES

  • Santa Clara closes out a stretch of three in a row on the road when it plays at San Francisco. The Broncos swept the Dons at home on Oct. 9.
  • Six of Santa Clara's losses have come against top 25 foes (Oregon, Pepperdine, BYU - twice, San Diego- twice). Three of the program's setbacks in WCC play occurred in five sets - to Pepperdine at home (Sept. 25), at Saint Mary's (Sept. 28) and at home vs. the Gaels (Oct. 23).
  • The Broncos rank fifth in kills per set (12.21) in the WCC, sixth in hitting percentage (.220) and fifth in service aces per set (1.65).
  • Julia Sangiacomo (3.65), Michelle Shaffer (3.19) and Sophia Tulino (3.09) and rank fifith, ninth and 11th, respectively, in the conference in kills per set.
  • Kat Georgiadis is second in the league at 4.19 digs per set.
  • Shaffer (0.29),  Anna Stucchi (0.36) and Sangiacomo (0.35) rank third, ninth and 11th, respectively, in the WCC in service aces per set. 
  • Nive Tuileta (9.55) ranks fourth in the league in assists per set.

SERIES HISTORY

  • Santa Clara leads the all-time series, 70-17, but the Dons have won four of the last seven. The teams split a pair of meetings in the spring during the postponed 2020 season. However, the Broncos prevailed 3-0 at home last month.
