Student-Athlete Spotlight: Grace Kavanagh

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – During 14 career appearances with women's water polo, Grave Kavanagh has tallied 38 saves and five steals. On February 8 of this year, she tied a career high with seven blocks against UC Irvine, also reaching the number April 12, 2019 against Azusa Pacific.

Favorite Bronco memory so far?
Practicing with my teammates in the sunshine during spring quarter.

Favorite SCU class?
Women and Gender Studies with Dr. Sharangpani. The class was empowering and helped shed light and provide different perspectives on modern issues. Dr. Sharangpani always ensured we left her class in good spirits. 

Why SCU?
The beautiful location, high academic standards and the competitive athletics. 

First celebrity crush? 
Orlando Bloom.

If you could eat one food item for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Anything with chocolate.

I don't know how to pump my own gas.
