BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – The Santa Clara women's water polo team and 22 of its players were honored by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).

The Broncos had a cumulative grade-point average of 3.49 at the end of the spring term.

Divided into three teams based on cumulative GPA, athletes received Outstanding (4.00-3.71), Superior (3.70-3.41) or Excellent (3.40-3.20) distinction.

Lydia Dadd, Maggie Oys, Jamie Robinson and Lauren Voss were on the outstanding list.

Harper Daniels, Abby Fleming, Kelly Frumkin, Alexa Grau, Anuhea Ledesma, Halley Seed and Gabi Sicat were in the superior range.

Earning excellent status were Emma Allegrucci, Lauren Baglietto, Mia Battilega, Kendra Bean, Natalie Brauser, Hailey Eberle, Katie Francis, Maddy Gomes and Maggie Ireland, Grace Kavanagh and Julia Mozilo.

The team was recognized, along with 24 other schools, for achieving a GPA of at least 3.00.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete's head coach must be a member of the ACWPC.
