The senior is on a five-game hitting streak, and has multiple hits and an RBI in four of his last five games.

Grant Meylan has reached base safely in 13 straight games, the longest such streak for Santa Clara in 2016. He has scored a run in five consecutive games. Kert Woods and Florentine each have a 10-game on-base streak.

As a team, the Broncos have scored 5+ runs in a single inning five times in the last seven games.

Broncos on the Mound

Travis Howard makes the 13th appearance and fourth start of his freshman campaign Tuesday night. He started the nightcap against Pepperdine on Sunday, and allowed four earned runs on three hits in 1.1 innings. In his previous two starts, Howard combined to allow just an earned run in 10.2 innings with nine strikeouts.

Max Kuhns has saves in 10 of Santa Clara's 14 wins this season, and the Broncos have recorded a save in 12 of 14 victories overall (Nick Medeiros has two saves).
