SANTA CLARA, Calif. – On a modest two-game winning streak, Santa Clara women's basketball continues its road trip Saturday at 4 p.m. at Nevada.

On Thursday, the Broncos defense shutdown San Diego State in a 48-34 victory.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 12-11 all-time against Nevada with the first meeting coming during the 1970-71 season. The last meeting was a 67-53 Bronco defeat at home on Dec. 18, 2008.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (4-5) is scoring 59.0 points per game on 39.0-percent shooting from the field. The Broncos have the top defense in the West Coast Conference, allowing 59.8 ppg while forcing 16.7 turnovers per game.

Ashlyn Herlihy leads the team in scoring with 11.3 ppg and has knocked down a team-high 14 3-pointers while adding 5.6 rebounds per game as well. Morgan McGwire's 7.7 rpg lead the Broncos and she is second in scoring with 9.9 ppg. McGwire also leads the team with 2.4 steals per game and 1.2 blocks per game. Kyla Martin is tied for the league lead with 5.3 assists per game and is scoring 9.7 ppg as well.

THE WOLFPACK
Nevada (6-4) has won three in a row and is scoring 70.3 ppg on 40.9-percent shooting from the field and 36.9-percent from beyond the arc.

Teige Zeller leads the Wolfpack with 14.7 ppg and 7.4 rpg while shooting a team-high 55.0-percent from the floor. T Moe's 3.2 apg is tops on the roster and she adds 9.5 ppg as well. Halie Bergman (9.9 ppg), Camariah King (9.5 ppg), AJ Cephas (9.0 ppg), an Terae Briggs (8.4 ppg) round out Nevada's balanced scoring attack.
