SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Looking to continue its winning streak, Santa Clara women's basketball heads on the road to face Pacific Thursday at 7 p.m.

Last week, the Broncos won a pair of games at home, topping San Diego 59-50 and avenging a one-point loss to Pepperdine earlier in the year 54-50.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 27-20 all-time against Pacific with the first meeting coming in 1974-75. Last year, the Broncos beat the Tigers twice, both times by double-figures.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (7-14, 3-7 WCC) enters the week with a two-game winning streak and the league's best defense. The Broncos allow 57.6 points per game while forcing 16.1 turnovers per game and collecting 9.0 steals per game.

Morgan McGwire is the team leader in scoring (10.5 ppg), rebounding (8.8 pg), steals (2.2 pg), and blocks (1.9 pg) while placing second in the WCC in blocks. Ashlyn Herlihy is second on the team in scoring with 9.6 ppg and is tied for the team lead in 3-pointers made. Kyla Martin averages a team-high 4.9 assists per game and scores 8.4 ppg. Taylor Berry's 6.3 rpg is second on the Broncos and she adds 8.2 ppg.

THE TIGERS
Pacific (10-11, 4-6 WCC) leads the WCC in scoring with 78.2 ppg on 43.2-percent shooting from the field and 33.4-percent from beyond the arc. The Tigers have scored over 80 points in five of their last six games.

Geanna Luaulu-Summers is third in the conference with 17.7 ppg and first with 5.9 aog. She leads Pacific with 39 3-pointers made. Jenelle Grant grabs a team-leading 7.2 rpg while scoring 7.3 ppg. Ameela Li scores 12.7 ppg and Desire Finnie adds 11.7 wile Brooklyn McDavid rounds out the double-digit scorers with 10.2 ppg.
