Women's Basketball Heads South to Face San Diego Saturday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball travels down south to take on San Diego Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Broncos fell to BYU on Thursday night in Leavey Center.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 34-39 all-time against San Diego with the first meeting coming in 1984-85. Earlier this year, the Broncos beat the Toreros 59-50 in Leavey Center.

THE BRONCOS

Aubrey Ward leads San Diego with 15. ppg and 43 3-pointers made. Ward also leads the team with 3.0 apg. Maya Hood is scoring 11.6 ppg on a team-best 47.6-percent shooting from the field and leads the Toreros with 7.1 rpg. Sydney Williams scores 9.5 ppg and brings down 3.7 rpg.
