The Bulldogs, who have won 35 straight conference road games, downed Pacific, 92-59, at home on Saturday. Gonzaga has won 13 in a row overall, including a 104-54 home triumph against Santa Clara on Jan. 16.

QUICK HITS...
• With a victory over Pacific on Jan. 18, Santa Clara matched its win total from last season. The 16-4 start was the best since 1994-95 when the mark was the same. The 14-2 opening to the season was the best since beginninng a school-record 21-0 in 1968-69 on the way to a 27-2 mark and a trip to the NCAAs. The Broncos won at least 14 of 16 to begin a season for only fourth time in school history: 14-2 in 1930-31 and 15-1 in 1946-47.
• Seven players are averaging at least 7.0 points, including four in double digits led by Trey Wertz (12.8 ppg), Josip Vrankic (12,1), Guglielmo Caruso (11.6) and DJ Mitchell (10.1). Keshawn Justice is averaging 9.0 points, Tahj Eaddy 8.0 and Jalen Williams 7.3. Caruso, who has been out of the lineup, and Mitchell are tied for the team lead in rebounding (5.5), and Wertz is averaging a team-high 3.7 assists. Vrankic is averaging 5.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
• Santa Clara had won 17 straight home games, dating to last season, until last week's loss to Pepperdine. That streak ranks third longest in school history and first all-time during the Toso Pavilion/Leavey Center era (since 1975-76). The mark was also the fifth-longest active streak in the NCAA until that blemish. The streak began following a 66-55 loss to Saint Mary's (Feb. 14, 2019).
