YEAR FOUR UNDER SENDEK...
The Broncos are heading into the their 113th year, including fourth under Herb Sendek, who has been successful in each of his three previous head-coaching stops. With a resume that includes 18 postseason appearances and three conference coach of the year awards, Sendek, was one of the three youngest coaches with 400 or more career victories. Having led the Broncos to winning records in two of his three seasons, he is in his 26th season as a collegiate head coach with stops at Arizona State, North Carolina State and Miami (Ohio).

THE PACIFIC SERIES...
The Broncos have a 99-45 edge in a series that dates to 1905 and won the last four meetings. This is the seventh season the Tigers have been a member (for the second time) of the West Coast Conference, with the Broncos leading 10-4 in that span. But the teams have faced each other every season since 1994-95. The 144 games played are the fifth-most among Santa Clara opponents. Santa Clara has won four of the last five in Stockton.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES...
• Injuries are starting to take a toll and the one to Guglielmo Caruso (lower right leg) has been the most impactful. He missed his 12th game (in the last 13) on Thursday. He played five minutes in the loss to San Francisco (Feb. 20). That marked his first action since Dec. 29 against Alcorn State. Ezekiel Richards (ankle), who played in 10 games as a reserve, and Miguel Tomley (knee), who has not seen action, have been ruled out for the season. Juan Ducasse (ankle) and Giordan Williams (ankle) each missed two games, but were available against BYU.
Josip Vrankic has hit double figures in scoring in nine of the last 11 games and averaged 16.8 points and 7.0 rebounds in that span.
Jaden Bediako has taken over for Caruso in the starting lineup in 12 of the last 13 games. He has scored in double figures in four of the last five and averaged 10.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in that span.
• Over the last five games, Keshawn Justice has averaged 9.8 points on 47.4 percent shooting (18 of 28), including 56.5 percent on 3-pointers (13-for-23), and 4.2 rebounds.
