SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara stays on the road and heads to UC Riverside for a game Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The Broncos beat UC Santa Barbara Friday and Saturday, both times by 22 points, to close out last week.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 2-1 all-time against UC Riverside with the first meeting coming in 1979-80. The last meeting was an 80-69 Roadrunner win in Riverside on Nov. 4, 2014.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (3-2) is scoring 65.8 points per game on 41.4-percent shooting from the field and 34.2-percent from downtown. The Broncos are allowing 57.4 ppg while forcing 19.8 turnovers per game.

Ashlyn Herlihy leads the team in both scoring (13.4 ppg) and rebounding (6.2 pg) while shooting 54.8-percent from the floor and is tied for the team lead with eight 3-pointers made. Lindsey VanAllen is scoing 9.2 ppg and also had knocked down eight triples while adding 4.2 rpg. Merle Wiehl scores 8.6 ppg with 4.4 rpg and Lexie Pritchard also adds 8.6 ppg. Ashlee Maldonado's 4.2 assists per game is tops on the Broncos.

THE ROADRUNNERS
UC Riverside (1-1) is averaging 66.0 ppg while allowing 59.0. The Roadrunners are shooting 35.1-percent from the field and 23.1-percent from beyond the arc.

Keilanei Cooper is averaging a team high 21.0 ppg and adds 5.5 rpg. Daphne Gnago has pulled down 8.0 rpg to lead the team and adds 8.5 ppg. Jordan Webster also scored 8.5 ppg while bringing down 6.5 rpg.
