DEERLIJK, Belgium – Coming off a terrific Santa Clara career, women's basketball forward Ashlyn Herlihy has signed a professional contract with the Kortrijk Spurs in Belgium's top division.

Herlihy finished her career with 1,163 career points, good for 12th in program history. She is one of just 26 Broncos to eclipse the 1,000-point mark. Herlihy is fifth all-time with 731 rebounds and tied for 10th with 6.6 rpg. Her 3,355 minutes plated puts her at No. 5 in team history.

During her time on the Mission campus, Herlihy averaged 10.3 points per game on 45.0-percent shooting from the field and 36.4-percent from downtown.

She was a three-time All-WCC honorable mention selection and was WCC All-Academic as a junior.

As a senior, Herlihy set a career-high with 11.5 points on a career-best 48.8-percent shooting from the field and 44.4-percent from beyond the arc.

She set a career-high in rebounding as a sophomore when she pulled down 7.4 rpg.
