SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball returns home to take on No. 20 Gonzaga Thursday.

Tipoff from Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz is set for 6 p.m. Due to Santa Cruz County guidelines, spectators will not be permitted inside the venue.

The Broncos went on the road last week and won at Saint Mary's 77-59 and at Pacific 77-74.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 29-42 all-time against Gonzaga with the first meeting coming in 1987-88. Last season, the Zags won both meetings.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (7-4, 3-2 WCC) is scoring 63.2 points per game as a team on 39.9-percent shooting from the field and 32.4-percent from beyond the arc. The Broncos allow 59.9 ppg while forcing 18.4 turnovers per contest and collecting 10.1 steals per game.

Lindsey VanAllen leads the team in scoring with 13.2 ppg and steals with 1.9 pg as well as 3-pointers made with 14. She also leads the way with 45 free throws made and 56 attempted while adding 4.6 rebounds per game. Ashlyn Herlihy's 7.4 rpg is tops on the team and she adds 11.1 ppg as well. Merle Wiehl scores 8.5 ppg with 5.7 rpg and Ashlee Maldonado is fifth in the West Coast Conference with 3.6 assists per game.

THE BULLDOGS
Gonzaga (10-2, 5-0 WCC) leads the conference in defense, allowing 56.1 ppg. The Bulldogs are third in offense with 71.3 ppg. As a team, they shoot 44.8-percent from the field and allow opponents to shoot 37.3-percent. Both marks are second in the WCC.

Jenn Wirth is fifth in the league with 14.2 ppg and second with 9.5 rpg. She also leads the conference with a 61.0-percent mark from the floor. Jill Townsend scores 13.1 ppg while adding 5.8 rpg. Cierra Walker's 26 3-pointers are the most on the team and Kayleigh Truong leads the way with 3.4 apg.
