SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer remains home to take on Saint Mary's Saturday. Kickoff is schedule for 1 p.m. from Stevens Stadium.
The Broncos opened the season with a solid 2-0 win over Portland on Saturday.
Due to current guidelines in Santa Clara County, spectators will not be permitted inside the Stevens Stadium. In addition, only essential personnel is allowed on campus. The general public is allowed only to 'pass through' campus, such as on a walk, but no lingering, gathering, lounging, etc. is permitted.
SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 35-3-5 all-time against Saint Mary's with the first meeting coming in 1981. Last year the Broncos topped the Gaels 2-1 in Moraga and are unbeaten (16-0-3) in the last 19 meetings.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (1-0, 1-0 WCC) outshot Portland 15-4 in the season opener and 6-2 in shots on target. The Broncos drew six corners while allowing two.
Kelsey Turnbow scored a goal and added an assist for a team best three points and Izzy D'Aquila also found the back of the net. Sally Menti added an assist as well.
Marlee Nicolos picked up a shutout in her collegiate debut, making two saves.
THE GAELS
Saint Mary's (0-2-2, 0-1-1 WCC) has been outshot on the season 55-45 and 31-20 in shots on target while being outscored 4-2.
Carly Hittenmiller and Emily Jensen have each scored a goal and lead the team with two points each. Malia Allison has an assist.
Taylor Poland has played every minute in net and allowed four goals for a 0.87 GAA. She has 26 saves and a .867 save percentage.
